Ye’s LA choir call brings noise, hate symbols, and furious neighbors

Ye’s latest project has created a ruckus in the Larchmont neighborhood of Los Angeles. As reported by TMZ, the rapper

has been holding auditions for his ‘hooligan choir’ in a warehouse next to an elementary school. Flyers pinned up around the area call out for black men with peculiar and very specific physical traits, including a resemblance to Sean Diddy Combs

, while also requiring participants to be “comfortable wearing swastikas.”

Neighbors have been subjected to the blaring sounds

of ‘Carnival’ and ‘Black Skinhead’ being blasted through speakers, rattling the walls in nearby homes.

The mayhem surrounding the ‘hooligan choir’ auditions escalated when the sources further revealed how black men with shaved heads, dressed in dark clothes, were seen standing in military formations. Ye has not attended the auditions yet, but the graphic imagery, coupled with the swastikas spray-painted on the warehouse walls, visible from a nearby elementary school, sparked serious outrage

. Residents made almost a dozen noise complaints to the LAPD, and while the situation is now under investigation, no significant action has reportedly been taken so far. Ye’s casting call may be making noise, but his Easter rant on X is still lingering in the background.
