‘Sinners’ Debutant Miles Caton Recalls the Lessons Learned From Michael B. Jordan in a Candid Reflection

If surviving in Tinseltown is a tightrope walk, getting your foot on the door is like trying to find the door while blindfolded, underwater, and up against a tide of stars. Since Hollywood is in a constant state of reinvention, to rise in its ever-churning current is less a career move and a more full-blown expedition. However, in a recent revelation, Miles Caton opened up about making his debut in Sinners

—a cinematic rollercoaster alongside Michael B. Jordan. Jordan, whose Hollywood reign has been nothing short of silver-screen royalty, did not just share the frame; he extended a lifeline.

In doing so, Jordan proved he is more than just a box office draw—he is a leading man on and off the screen.

Navigating Tinseltown for a newcomer is akin to cruising through the vast vacuum of space. Yet, Miles Caton has done it incredibly, giving viewers plenty of reasons

to watch Sinners

in the theaters. Although Michael B. Jordan played a crucial role in helping him cozy up in showbiz, getting started in the dark realms of the horror genre made the challenge twice as hard. However, Caton revealed to Variety that growing up watching scary movies turned out to be a game-changer on this mission.

Caton spent his childhood binge-watching cult classics like Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street,

and A Vampire in Brooklyn.

him. Instead, those were the things he kept in his mind the most, joining the Sinners

All in all, it gave Caton enough reasons to keep coming back, horror genre or not.
