What are the entertainment offerings that consumers are most excited about? It’s a question that marketers, distributors, advertisers and media publications are always asking.
ScreenShare, a data partnership between Screen Engine/ASI and TheWrap, tracks the Top 10 most-mentioned entertainment options every week and whether each has gained or lost momentum compared to the prior week. The chart lives on the Data & Analysis page of the WrapPRO Members Hub.
“A Minecraft Movie” rises to No. 1, dethroning “Wicked,” as it becomes the highest-grossing film in 2025, earning nearly $281 million domestically. “Wicked” now comes in at No. 2 while HBO’s hit post-apocalyptic drama, “The Last of Us,” returns at No. 3 just ahead of its Season 2 premiere. Disney’s “Snow White” dips one spot to No. 4 as two other highly anticipated Disney films join the list. Marvel’s “Thunderbolts*,” starring Sebastian Stan and Florence Pugh, premiering May 2, and the live-action remake of “Lilo & Stitch,” premiering May 23, debut on the list at No. 5 and No. 9, respectively.
“NCAA March Madness” drops to No. 6 as the tournament came to a close. HBO’s “The White Lotus” returns to the list at No. 7, coinciding with its highly polarizing Season 3 finale. “NBA Basketball” moves up one spot to No. 8 as the play-in tournament begins on Apr. 15, and “NFL Football” joins the list at No. 10 as the 2025 draft approaches.
