, the clear cut docu-series has been filmed with the idea in mind as a following of the search of the 21-year-old Instagram influencer who has managed to scam people via the social media, gaining traction for her heart felt story, which was eventually uncovered in front everyone. With the influencer chokehold grasp on the audience tightening up times four in the recent year, Netflix has played anything but the Devil’s advocate in this case.

The two part documentary centers around a mass-scam that had been domino-ed by one Belle Gibson. A twenty-one-year influencer who uncovers a way to exploit, seeming like she had the best-interests of people in her mind. Coming up with a scheme, which started with a lie about her health conditions, she continued to sell people a certain concoction that she claimed to have saved her life, proof of which she presented as having been alive when the doctors had given her four remaining months.
