Marvel Adds Another Name to Its Long List Of ‘Game of Thrones’ Actors in the MCU With the ‘House of the Dagon’ Star

The rearing ground for the biggest stars in business, casting an actor in any role for Marvel, is not an easy task. Not only does a wrong casting invite fan wrath but also leaves the superhero studio with a character that they have to discard. And to navigate this turbulence, Marvel has taken refuge in the continents of Westeros and Essos.

With a flock of actors already having made their shift from medieval to Marvel and ultimately another million dollar paycheck, the studio has added another booming voice from the House of the Dragons

to the Kingdom of Wakanda.

Marvel finds its next star in this House of the Dragon actor

In what can only be described as a shrewd casting move, Marvel has added another pick from the group of actors who have already mastered snarling dialogue and looking fierce in wigs. Setting the stage right for its upcoming series Eyes of Wakanda

bright and early, Marvel has cast Steve Toussaint.

Given that the series is not up for release until next year, it is unclear what kind of role Toussaint will be playing in the land of superheroes but if it is anything like his character in House of the Dragons

, then the audience better gear up to fall in love once again.

Toussaint’s casting is just another scoop in Marvel’s endless lasagna of Game of Thrones

alums making the multiverse less a cinematic universe and more a Westerosi reunion in spandex.

The Marvel migration of Game of Thrones actors

When Marvel was still a niche interest and not a studio that was adorned by the brightest stars of Hollywood, Game of Thrones

had already established itself as a cinematic masterpiece. Therefore, it does not come as a surprise that certain actors would trade their swords for spandexes, but just how many would definitely did. Steve Toussaint would be approximately the 19th actor to make the move from Westerosi to Marvel.

One of the greatest treasures to emerge from this shift was definitely Kit Harrington finding his calling as Dane Whitman. He was further followed by Richard Madden and Peter Dinklage. However, it is not just the actors but also prosthetic designers and beauties from the HBO masterpiece that are wrecking havoc in the multiverse

with Emilia Clarke playing G’iah and Natalie Dormer taking on the role of Private Lorraine. Despite the giant HBO wave that has already marked its shift, it is hard to say that Toussaint would be the last one as Marvel continues to set up its next phase.
