, of course, tops that list. Ever since Season 4 dropped, fans have been desperately waiting for all their questions to be answered and those pesky loose ends to be tied up in the final season. And now, after years of theories and speculation, a rumored premiere date has popped up. But, fans are still not happy.
Netflix has confirmed that Season 5 will drop in 2025, but they have not given an exact date yet. That has not stopped fan accounts from digging for clues. One popular page on X, @SThingsSpoilers, has recently claimed to have uncovered the release date. According to them, Netflix’s API lists Stranger Things
Season 5 as premiering on November 27, 2025. But @SThingsSpoilers is not alone, either—another fan account, @UpsideDownScoop, which regularly shares updates on the show, has also posted about this possible date recently.

@UpsideDownScoop even mentioned that, as of now, “Season 5 is listed to release in one volume
.” The account also added a warning, writing that it is still early, and Netflix could change its release plans in the future. Based on the number of episodes and their already-revealed titles, some fans think the creators might split the season into two volumes—just like they did with Season 4. But if that happens, fans might have to wait even longer for the second half. And, from what it seems, the fandom is struggling to cope with that possibility.

Season 5, and their patience is running thin. Of course, not all of the delays were Netflix’s fault. Filming for the final season was originally supposed to start in May 2023, but back-to-back labor strikes caused an eight-month delay, and the filming did not start until January 2024. Can someone stab me already? I’m not waiting this long it’s already been almost 3 years and season 4 came out can they just edit it faster I mean, they’ve done it before with the other seasons with the CGI and stuff and they managed to finish it in less than a year

Filming for Stranger Things
Season 5 officially wrapped in December, last year. Now, the post-production is expected to take anywhere from five to eight months, which means the earliest fans can expect the final season to arrive on Netflix should be in the fall of 2025. For now, fans can only hold tight and hope the wait, that has led them to do some random stuff on the web
