Netflix’s most iconic Korean series, Squid Game

, is preparing for its grand farewell. But it seems Netflix is not ready to let this IP go just yet.

Squid Game is not done quite yet

Fans are still recovering from the cliffhanger that Season 2 of Squid Game

delivered last month. While the final season is rumored to drop in June 2025

creator Hwang Dong-hyuk teased the idea of spin-offs. When asked about the possibility, he told Screen Rant, “I guess we can be open to anything

Hwang also pointed out that there is a three-year gap between the events of Season 1 and Season 2. That gap leaves plenty of room to explore all kinds of new stories for the makers. The possibilities are endless. If these plans pan out, Netflix could be giving fans even more Korean content to binge, while also keeping the Squid Game
