The year 2025 looms with an unspoken promise of ‘Bully’s release, though if Ye’s latest snippet is any indication, nostalgia might have to settle for crumbs. The ‘Bully’ track, shared by Ye on Instagram stories 

alongside a clip of Pamela Anderson in what one might generously describe as her ‘natural state,’ bore fleeting echoes of vintage Ye. With the rapper echoing ‘Hide Your Bi—‘ in the background, this Ye snippet has shaken up the Internet, with some claims of life-altering experiences as well.

It was not the lyrics, hardly present, or the rap style, barely evident, that whipped Ye’s loyal followers into a frenzy. No, it was the mere notion that this fragment might belong to ‘Bully’, the album whispered about like an urban legend. That, paired with the nostalgic haze of Pamela Anderson’s heyday, has left fans claiming that the old Ye is back

, though one suspects they would settle for any Ye who bothers to finish what he starts.

Since his return to Instagram, Grammy-winning rapper Ye has transformed his platform into a canvas of peculiar self-expression. At times, this involves magnanimous tributes to his artistic peers. At others, it’s little more than a silent yet spectacular showcase of Bianca Censori. His latest post appears to be an inspired fusion of both, a medley of Ye’s artistic flair and his unapologetically extravagant taste in bare beauty.

From the usual complaints of being in public when they opened the post, to claims of how the snippet was life-changing, fans were quick to drop their two cents.

Despite the mind-boggling nature of the snippet, some fans still had their senses in check as they took this moment to roast not just Ye but also themselves for expecting gold from the rapper when what he dropped was according to them the ‘bare’ minimum.
